Delicious and Spicy Buffalo Pizza Recipe
Ingredients:
- Pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- Olive oil, for brushing
- Pizza sauce or marinara sauce (optional)
- Cooked chicken breast, shredded or diced
- Hot sauce (such as Frank's RedHot or your preferred brand)
- Shredded mozzarella cheese
- Red onion, thinly sliced
- Ranch or blue cheese dressing, for drizzling
- Fresh cilantro or parsley leaves, chopped (optional)
- Preheat your oven to the temperature specified on the pizza dough package or to 450°F (230°C) if using homemade dough.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a lightly floured surface to your desired thickness.
- Transfer the rolled-out dough onto a baking sheet or pizza stone. If using a baking sheet, lightly grease it or line it with parchment paper.
- Brush the surface of the dough with olive oil to prevent it from getting soggy.
- If desired, spread a thin layer of pizza sauce or marinara sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- In a bowl, mix the cooked chicken breast with enough hot sauce to coat it evenly. Adjust the amount of hot sauce to your preferred level of spiciness.
- Spread the Buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the dough.
- Sprinkle a layer of shredded mozzarella cheese over the chicken, covering it completely.
- Add the thinly sliced red onion on top of the cheese.
- Place the pizza in the preheated oven and bake for about 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown, the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the toppings are heated through.
- Remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Drizzle ranch or blue cheese dressing over the top of the pizza.
- If desired, sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro or parsley leaves over the dressing for added freshness.
- Slice the pizza into wedges and serve.
