Start with the basic major and minor scales, and gradually explore other scales as you become more comfortable.
- Learn to read guitar tabs and sheet music: Guitar tabs provide a visual representation of where to place your fingers on the fretboard. Sheet music for guitar includes standard notation and musical symbols. Familiarize yourself with these resources to expand your repertoire and learn new songs.
